Rebecca Sanchez is Salt Lake County Mayor Peter Corroon’s Diversity Affairs Specialist. In this newly appointed position she has developed a strong connection with the many diverse communities we have in Salt Lake County. She also worked with the past Salt Lake City Mayor Palmer DePaulis as his Community Affairs Coordinator. She is a graduate of the University of Utah’s conflict resolution program and has coached individuals and non-profit organizations on effective communication skills. She is very passionate about people of diverse backgrounds coming together and truly having an understanding of one another.
